The final game of the season rugby season takes place tomorrow at the Alnwick Greensfield Ground, NE66 1BE, when Alnwick 1sts will be playing Westoe.
To add to the excitment of the occasion there will be a charity auction to raise funds for the Alnwick U9’s rugby tour to Yorkshire, when the trilby I have made for this special occasion will be auctioned at 1.30pm. The dark blue wool felt I have made has an Alnwick theme. It features a miniature bow tie and button trim up cycled from a main club tie, and is completed with a pheasant trim. The head band has been signed by Gavin Hastings OBE, former captain of Scotland, who will be guest of honour at the U7’s – U9’s Festival on April 17th.
