We were lucky enough to travel to Australia for October and November and came home to snowy Northumberland in early December (you can see images of my travels in my Instagram feed). Fortunately, I had booked some exciting gift fairs to show my millinery collections and accessories on return – you can read about the recent fairs in my last Studio News.

And just as I thought I might have time to settle down to start making some appetising goodies for Christmas, I was delighted to be asked if I would like to be involved in Beadnell’s very own Christmas market! So, it was time to review my Christmas accessories and start planning the layout of my very own winter wonderland cabin at The Craster Arms, Beadnell, Christmas Market.

The market will be hosted by The Craster Arms daily from 12 – 6 in the wonderful and very atmospheric Christmas winter wonderland garden that they have created in their garden at The Wynding, Beadnell. Making their boutique-style homes in their very own Christmas Market individual cabins will be a carefully curated selection of local creatives ready to help you make those important gift decisions.

From noon daily, the garden will be filled with that familiar Christmas market bustle atmosphere we all love. To keep you warm, ‘The Nest’ bar will be open, and the festive wood-fired pizza oven will fire up. There’s lots of fun planned for all ages throughout the market. The entertainment will include a brass band, and there will be a Carol Service on Christmas Eve.

For the younger ones amongst us, there is the opportunity to meet the man who could grant all their wishes – Beadnell’s very own Santa Claus. Father Christmas will be housed in his warm cabin in the garden, and as it’s important to remember that Father Christmas is very busy at this time of year, please ask your parents to follow the link to book your special appointment with the real Santa.

I’ll be in attendance at the Beadnell Christmas Market on Thursday 21st, Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd, from 12pm – 6pm, wearing my favourite Christmas jumper. I will take the day off on Christmas Eve for those last-minute Christmas preparations. Meanwhile, I thought I would mention that I will have a selection of the hats and accessories I’ll decorate my Christmas cabin with at the market!

At the Beadnell Christmas Market on Thursday, the 21st, Friday, the 22nd and Saturday, the 23rd, from 12pm – 6pm, I’ll have a selection of irresistible hats, headpieces and accessories, perfect to wear when meeting friends over the holiday, and if you are attending a party over the holiday season, please come and look at the selection of cocktail headpieces I have available for you to take away with you, on the day

Nothing says winter beach walks or a day out at the New Year’s day races like a fir felt fedora. At The Beadnell Christmas Market I’ll have a selection of irresistible hats and headpieces perfect for the holidays to wear when meeting friends over the holiday, including feather trimmed fedoras. Here’s a quick preview of some pocket money style accessories for those last-minute stocking fillers too!
